Telescopes
Orion 16 inch SkyQuest GoTo Dobsonian
This telescope uses a mirror sixteen inches in diameter to gather the light needed to see distant galaxies, nebula, and star clusters. An advanced computer controlled GoTo mount insures no time is lost locating the next object to be viewed, resulting in a maximum number of planets and deep sky objects viewed in the time available.
Technically the telescope is an:

8 inch Meade Schmidt-Cassegrain
This telescope gathers light with an 8 inch diameter mirror. This telescope’s optical configuration makes it ideal for viewing planets and the moon.
